Everything people ask us
Do my guests have to install an app?
No. They scan the QR code or open the link in their browser, and that’s it. It works on older phones too, built so grandparents can join in as easily as the best man.
Are the photos and videos compressed?
No. The original files, photos and videos alike, are kept exactly as they are, and that is what you find in the archive. A lighter copy is used only to display the gallery quickly. Elsewhere, “HD” often means re-compressed; here, the original stays the original.
How many guests can join in?
As many as you like. Share the link as widely as you want, with no per-guest price, from the best man to your great-aunt. The fair-use allowance (500 GB, 20,000 files) is far more than even a very large wedding needs.
Does an artificial intelligence analyse our photos?
By default, yes. An AI run in France, by a French provider, analyses every upload, never a stranger. It sorts photos into categories (bride, dancing, wedding cake and so on), holds back sensitive content before it goes live and transcribes your voice messages word for word. You can switch it all off in one tap in your settings, and from then on not a single photo, video or voice message is analysed at all.
How long do our memories stay online?
It depends on the plan. Free: the album is online for 1 month from the big day (including 14 days of uploads), then it is deleted. Complete: 12 months after activation. Premium: 3 years. Whatever the plan, we remind you by email to download the complete archive well before the deadline. After that, everything is permanently erased from our servers.
Why don’t you promise “lifetime” storage?
Because nobody can keep it. A “lifetime” promise is worth exactly the lifetime of the company making it. We prefer clear deadlines, one year or three, email reminders well in advance, the complete archive included, then real deletion. Your memories are safer with you than behind anyone’s promise.
How much does it cost?
Your guests’ photos are free: gallery, slideshow, QR code, automatic sorting and the complete archive, for 1 month from the big day. The Complete plan, €59 as a one-off payment, adds videos, private voice messages with their transcripts, all themes, opening the album before the big day and the album online for 12 months. Premium, €99, keeps the album online for 3 years. No subscription, no extras, ever.
How much does it cost to get our memories back?
Nothing, whichever plan you choose. The complete archive (photos and videos in original quality, voice messages and transcripts) is included. Your memories are never held to ransom.
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. No card, and no time limit on creating it. It covers everything a photo album needs on the big day. What it leaves out: videos and voice messages (which can’t be added after the event) and opening the album before the big day; and the album stays online for 1 month rather than a year. You can upgrade to Complete or Premium at any time, paying only the difference.
What happens after a month?
The Free album is permanently deleted 1 month after the big day: 14 days of uploads, then 16 days to download everything. We email you three times, and every message gives you both options: download the complete archive for free, or keep the album online for a year by upgrading to Complete.
