The big picture is on the homepage; here is the practical detail: what your guests can send, what happens during the party, and what you keep at the end.
For your guests: sending in seconds
Every event has its own link and QR code. A guest scans it, the upload page opens in their browser: nothing to install, no account to create, and it works on older phones too. In practice, your guests can send:
- photos up to 30 MB, including HEIC photos from iPhones, converted automatically for display;
- videos up to 500 MB (mp4, mov, webm);
- voice messages up to 3 minutes, recorded right in the page;
- a little note and their first name, if they wish, with every upload.
Uploading is designed for reception venues: files are sent in batches, and if the Wi-Fi or the mobile signal drops, the upload picks up where it left off instead of starting over. A file sent twice is only counted once.
During the party: the live slideshow
Project the slideshow on the big screen and let it run unattended: every new photo appears on its own, already checked. Three safeguards work behind the scenes:
- every photo is given a sharpness score; blurry photos stay in the gallery but never reach the screen;
- bursts (ten nearly identical photos) are grouped behind their best image;
- sensitive content is held back before publishing and waits for your approval: the big screen will never take you by surprise.
The slideshow restarts on its own after a power cut or a sleeping screen, and is never subject to the access code: ideal on the venue screen.
After the wedding: find, sort, keep
The gallery is not just a pile of files. To find your way among thousands of memories:
- filters by moment (getting ready, cocktail hour, party), worked out from the times the photos were taken;
- automatic categories: bride, cake, dancing, kids, group photos… ten in all, which you can correct by hand;
- your custom tags, visible to you alone or shared with your guests;
- the “favourites”: the photos your guests liked the most, with an anonymous heart, no account needed.
At the end, you download the complete archive: photos and videos in original quality, written notes, voice messages and their transcripts, with a contents page. It is split into parts of around 2 GB so the download stays reliable even for a very large wedding. Your guests can also download the gallery photos, if you allow it.
Control and privacy
- Approval before publishing if you would rather approve everything yourselves; hide or delete any upload, at any time.
- Moderation by a French AI, operated in France: no stranger ever looks at your photos. It can be switched off entirely, in which case your photos are not analysed at all.
- An optional guest access code in front of the gallery and the upload page; changing it immediately signs out every device that had entered it.
- Your originals are not left lying around on the web: the original files, with their metadata (including GPS location), are never reachable through a permanent address; the images shown in the gallery are copies stripped of their metadata.
- GDPR compliant, data stored in the European Union, real and permanent deletion at the deadline (privacy policy).
