Wedding photo QR code: the guide to setting it all up
The QR code has become the simplest way to collect the photos from a wedding: a guest scans it with their camera, the upload page opens, their photos are on their way in seconds. Here is how to set it up, where to put it, and the mistakes to avoid.
How it works
The QR code simply encodes the link to your wedding gallery. Every recent phone (and most older ones) reads it straight from the camera, with no dedicated app. Your guest lands on a page where they pick their photos and videos, add a little note if they want, and send. No account to create: that is what makes all the difference compared with a classic shared album.
Creating your wedding QR code

Where to put the QR code on the day
- On every table: a small stand or a mention on the menu. This is the spot that brings in the most photos, because guests have it right in front of them at the very moment they reach for their phone.

- At the bar and near the photo booth: wherever the photos are being taken.
